Discovery

Its still snowing and bitterly cold in our part of Scotland. Weather we've not seen at this time of year for decades. Whilst by no means on the same scale it reminded me of Capt Robert Falcon Scott (RN) who commanded research expiditions to the South Pole in the Royal Reaearch Ship Discovery. I know rthe second expidition was ill-fated but the whole crew were indeed very brave folks.

Happy weekend blippers. Splice the mainbrace and drink a toast this weekend to all those who battle the cold and adverse weather for the sake of others whether its research in the coldest places on earth or keeping our roads clear, and our schools and grocery stores open.
