Watching me Watching you through the camera lens

A walk up the lane provided me with this wonderful photograph of a friend capturing a rather picturesque image.
I decided to blip this photograph as there is so much to look at and the detail on the tree trunk makes me think that it is about to come to life like a character called Treebeard from Lord Of The Rings.
The way the sun is creating differents light and shadows is fascinating and some of the branches look just like Reindeer antlers with the snow on them.
