Yayy!

Our tree went up today, so it's starting to feel more like Christmas. This will be my 32nd Christmas in retail, so most of the gloss has gone out of it for me, but you couldn't burst Sophie's bubble at all today.

This is my 300th Blip IN A ROW! Yayy! I never imagined I'd get this far consecutively and I'm pretty darned pleased about it. It's not often I stick at anything, so that in itself is a tribute to the kind, encouraging Bliptastic folk who take the time to comment and boost my often flagging willpower. You know who you are! Take a bow.

One of the nicest, and most interesting things about the Blipfoto community is that I get daily updates from every continent (does NZ count as Australia?), and I believe that the insight this allows me into the lives and cultures of others makes me a better person.
