Robertson Quay

Another look at Robertson Quay with the singapore eye just showing in the backround which was taken at 5 oclock this morning as I was getting ready to go to work.
The time difference here makes it harder to upload Blips when I get them due to the UK server system for Blipfoto. Anyway I read up about it in the help pages and seem to understand why.

So here is a brief history for the blip.

ROBERTSON QUAY

Robertson Quay was originally named after Dr. J Murray Robertson, a prominent Municipal Councillor. It was previously just a muddy swampland but had reclamation works done to it in the 19th century, as the result of the rapid growth in trade and population along the Singapore river.
All 51 hectares of Robertson Quay today have been transformed into a collection of residences, hotels, shops, restaurants, clubs and cultural institutions.

hope you all have a good weekend.
