The Grand Mosque

Had many shots that were candidates for my Blip today as I've been out exploring the new area in which I'm living. It looks really nice so far and lots of things to do close by.

But, I've decided to add this picture. It's a view of the grand mosque looking back towards central Manama. My apartment is about 5 minutes walk to the right of the mosque.

In the distance you can see the amazing Bahrain world trade centre (on the right) the financial harbour area (furthest two buildings to the left) and my workplace (third building on the left).

Might have a mooch around the mosque one day. Following on from a previous blip, note there a goal in the bottom left of the shot. Again, the pitch doesn't look great. I'm starting to see a theme emerging here, might be a nice collection of images though. 'Football pitches of Bahrain'?
