the driving lesson

Z has his learners permit. Sunday is a good day to practice driving, not too many drunks on the way to church, not too much traffic commuting to work.

Sunday Z volunteers at the wildlife center, so I let him drive there and he gets to listen to me lecture on the hazards of merge lanes, wet roads, careless drivers, bald tires, etc etc etc....

I'm sure he'd rather have a real driving instructor instead.
