Carolina Wren
He is a favorite of mine and with his distinctive coloring and upturned tail, he is easy to spot. He is only about 5 ½ inches long. Males and females look alike and both sing. Their songs are varied but easily identified. The wrens are not migratory but we rarely see them in the summer.
We have determined that squirrels do clap, but do they also pray?
Happy Saturday.
