"Winter Crystals"

I`ve have`nt been far from the house for a week, I`ve spent every day clearing snow from the drive.. While working on an escape route to get the car out to re-supply the empty cupboards a young guy in a tractor with a large scoop took pity on me and cleared a path to allow me out.. We had a slight thaw arround mid-day and I spotted these icicles, and on closer inspection I noticed the leaves were totally encased, I was also surprised at the ammount of colours the sun created.. We`ve had more snow at this time than I can remember. Just north of us in the hills its been down to -22 deg. we had -18 this week.. Spending all my pocket money on bird food, do remember them when your out shopping.....
