Mirrors should reflect a little...
before throwing back images (Jean Cocteau)
This evening will be for reflection, or at least relaxing! It has been a fraught sort of day; child #1, I am certain is about to 'become a woman' so to speak and has permanent PMT; child #2 is going through a similar, male phase and child #3 has an abscess on her tooth (which explains the not eating.)
We went to sister #2's house for coffee - well there would have been coffee if her dog had not spilt mine! The picture is the mirror which hangs on the fireplace wall. (Joanne, also known as friend #1 is not happy that she is not the blip of the day!)
So, tonight will be a night for getting kids to bed and sitting an playing some sort of game which involves shooting or solving puzzles (in the name of research, obviously) before getting into a hot, bubbly bath with a lovely cup of coffee then bed with today's novel The Prestige by Christopher Priest while I wait for Jane to get home from work.
Another shameless plug for my academic prowess today - any feedback would be appreciated!
