Blackbird

I've invested in some bird feeders for my garden. Their purpose is partly to encourage birds to my garden for photographing, but also (and more importantly) to help them out whilst the weather is so snowy and icy.

So far they are untouched so I went for a walk round my estate on a bird hunt instead. There weren't many birds to view and most of those I did see flew off when they heard the ice crunch under my feet. However, this blackbird decided to sit still enough for about 5 seconds before flying off. Hopefully I'll get some better feathered pictures soon!
