Jewelry Kaleidoscope

So the slumber party is over. After the YouTube session, they did the cake and ice cream thing. Then they played some kind of game where the fed each other ice cream while the feeder was blindfolded. It was quite the mess. They decided to go bowling (neon bowling) which is about the only semi-wholesome teen fun this time of year in the Mat-Su Valley. There used to be a sleazy bar attached to the bowling alley which has since been shut down. It's now alcohol and smoke free (at least for neon bowling). Although as a parent of a girl all the teen boys look like scum, it's a pretty harmless forum for the kids to congregate. On return to the house it was popcorn and movie, then chatting and giggling until 3:00 A.M. They slept until 10:00. The living room looked like a disaster. I fixed them french toast, waffles, and turkey bacon. The girls then spent a couple of hours dressing in costumes and created a video production. They then played gamecube in the early afternoon as parents dropped by periodically to pick up their daughters. By 4:00 P.M. the last guest was gone. Overall, the slumber party was a success with little damage and negligible blood loss.
