Gray or Grey

Like color or colour it doesn't matter how it's spelled, it means the same. Today was, indeed, gray. Sun tried briefly to punch through but gave up. No Carolina blue sky for sure, just cold and dreary. This image sums it up perfectly.

Last night was quite cold, about freezing, and nature had its way with one of the Coots. Phrases like dead duck and your goose is cooked don't have much humor when the fragile realities of real life stare you in the face.
