Icy pavement and colourful dwellings

Valerenga in eastern Oslo consists of charming quarters with wooden houses. In earlier days, these dwellings were rather humble - with poor sanitary facilites and limited space. Today, most of them are restored to a high standard, and the price level is far beyond the average of the eastern parts of the city.
