Red Brick Road Ride

I woke up from a phone call, and not the alarm I had set (which apparently had not rung at all). I had 15 mins. to get ready and be at the spot. I rushed up, managed to do all the necessary and reached well on time.
We rode to some of the very scenic spaces with bumps almost all through. We were on a top pavement like road, overseeing the thickly descended fog on either sides of the fields. The sun rose against the grey cover of mist, the cattle grazed and the birds hovered, the yellow mustard flowers gently began to lit up.. we pedaled on. The good part of cycling is the beauty that embraces all though the journey..
After a while of riding, this brick road had called for a few halts with almost all the cycles going flat. Mine was not spared either, at a time when the road was the smoothest. In the end, it took so much of effort to return back with so less air.. With this, the next ride seems so unsure.
