Me, my Yaktrax and snow gaiters got down to Port Edgar as the tide was nearly in, so there was plenty of water, plenty of space out there. Dozens of waders were congregated all along the advancing and shrinking water line quite happily together, but this shelduck obviously took against this particular gull for no apparent reason.

I went over to the local co-op, they haven't had a milk/vegetable delivery since Wednesday :-[ Fortunately I've been buying milk when I've gone into the office.
