We've still got some way to go before it melts away!

Was going to have a trip into town for Christmas shopping, which is most unlike me on a Sunday, but after a long walk with the mutt and freezing cold ears, I weighed up the situation:

Fighting way into town and back + busy shops = silly
Warm house + roast dinner + papers + glass of wine = sensible.
