Open Houses

Spent the afternoon looking around some of the Open House exhibitions in Brighton. It's a great concept. Yes you get to snoop around other people's houses, and yes, some works of 'art' are better than others, but you do genuinely get to see bits of the city that you wouldn't otherwise know existed. Like this view of the rear of Embassy Court. It's an iconic building on the Hove seafront, and this is one of the rear stairwells that you can't see from the road. Whilst I was unconvinced by the works on display in the Boiler Room, this hidden aspect made it worth the visit. I've probably gone a bit OTT on the processing, but hey ho, I still quite like it.
