Pointy toes

Lilli had her first little "performance" at ballet school today. Her Russian teacher is a very impressive tall lady, with a deep, roaring voice and a beautiful dancer's body (very different from the little fat English lady that was my teacher when I was little, and who only stood around holding onto her cane...).

Iris really does her job well and transforms herself into butterflies, stars, and other things girls like.

Seeing my little girl dance is one of those moments of motherhood that make me all weepy. It's just pure innocence and beauty.
