We braved the cold weather and torrential rain,and drove to Brighton in an unheated car(our heater is broken),with the windows open(to stop the windows from steaming),to see Angus and Julia Stone perform live. It was so worth it. A brilliant gig. Julia Stones voice is amazing,better live than on disc. Unfortunately her brother was on his way to losing his voice,so we didn't hear much from him. Even so the ambience was spot on and my baby kicked all the way through the gig. Definately enjoying the noises.
A lovely evening and so nice not to be at home in front of the box on a Saturday night. I've been to alot of gigs,but this one touched my heart from the banter to the performance. My best gig ever.
