in the financial district. The snow falls were the talk of the office on Friday when colleagues caught underneath were in danger of creating a few more Scottish Widows.

Started the day with my now customary path clearing; is there are more satisfying feeling than clearing a path through snow and ice? Later, the car and I broke free of the snow tractor beam and ventured to the supermarche for supplies. Later later, I met up with Nancy, Owen and the CoolJim's at the Mount Royal Hotel for coffee and a damn fine view of Princes Street, as the sun light went out and the bright lights of the winter market came on.

Busy day so I'm going to put my feet up in a moment and most probably fall asleep whilst listening to Guy Garvey on the radio.

Jolly good.
