2nd Sunday of Advent

I really struggled today to find an image, and those I did find I didn't capture well. My excuse is that I was busy and only had the iPhone with me, but I guess the reality is simply that it was one of those less creative days.

So I've borrowed someone else's creativity. This is the Christmas 2010 publicity display. It's been up a few weeks now and I've enjoyed the contrasting colours and simple shapes each time I've seen it. As I mentioned last Sunday I love the anticipation of Advent. So looking ahead to the great things that'll happen over the next few weeks seemed appropriate as a reflection of looking ahead in a wider sense.
