Advent Calendar Day 4 - Still Waiting

As we celebrated Andrew's birthday I was remembering the wait for his birth, he was late (nothing changes) and we had waited for over a fortnight for him to arrive. We thought surely by St Andrew's night but no ... even longer. We were Christmas shopping when I went into labour and we decided we had better get home.

But not only had we been waitng for his birth but so were our church as we had sponsored a tile on the roof of the new halls with one for each of the family and of course we couldn't leave the latest addition out. However we didn't have a name or the sex of the new arrival but at last he came and the last tile could go on the roof. The wait was over ... Yet we still had another birth, a much more important one, to wait for in three weeks time!
