Sunday DIY

Sundays wouldn't be Sundays without a bit of DIY. My daughter decided a few years ago that she wanted one of these bunk bed affairs with the bed on top and a setee underneath. The one we got was made of metal and not very well made at that so after a while it started to squeak incessantly with every minute movement she made!

Anyway, she decided it was time to get a good night's sleep (and she wanted a bed that was a bit more 'grown-up') so a visit to Ikea was organised. She chose this bed because she reads all the time and thought that a day-bed type would be good as she could pile cushions at the back of it.
