6th of December
It is the Independence Day in Finland. Graveyards are lighten by candles, each war victim over the country has his light. Festivities and balls in many places. President is giving the biggest ball that ordinary people can follow in TV. This is important day to Finns. We were lucky to keep our independence. It was not obvious against Soviet Union. Fistful of brave young men in white gowns and certainly some luck. We are happy to belong to free countries.
These are the boys of my little village who lost their lives.
