Morning snow
Took this on the way home after dropping Campbell at school. About 30 minutes later that big grey sky dumped a load of the white stuff on us. Nowhere near as bad as the piles that are hitting further south but enough for them to close the school a couple of hours later.
I picked Campbell up from school, he came home, donned the big boots once more and headed back down to the village to throw snowballs at his pals.
As I speak hopefully Steven and Ruairidh are heading home from Kirkwall and will pick Campbell up on the way. Meanwhile I'll head for the kitchen to rustle up something that sends a welcoming smell throughout the house.... fried onions ought to do the trick, might be all there is anyway.
