Travel Misery ...

Made an effort to get to Edinburgh today but it really wasn't worth it. The 08:00 was a sardine packed 3-coacher - you would have thought less frequent services equalled longer trains but not so. One woman managed to get herself on - but not her bag - so she had to get off again !

So I left early and this time it was a sardine-packed 6-coacher to Glasgow Queen St. The fun and games really started at Glasgow Central where the local train was cancelled, re-instated, re-destinationed and then re-platformed - the scene was worthy of the keystone cops.

Total travel time today = 5.5 hrs. Tomorrow I will need to be crowbarred out of the flat....
