oh Christmas tree

We met up with a group of friends from church this afternoon to put up the giant Christmas tree that was delivered yesterday. The children made some crafty bots and decorations for the tree, while the grown up put up the tree, and hung the lights. After we'd had tea, the children took it in turns to put on the decorations, bought and homemade, and generally make the tree look pretty. It did require men on ladders and small children on shoulders! We finished off by singing away in a manger, by the light of the Christmas Tree. A realy lovely start to the season.
