Policeman's Boots

I thought I'd share with you my colleagues abandoned boots.
He managed to get some holes in his shoes last week and they were seeping water from the snow. He realised when he arrived into work that they were ruined.
His alternative footwear were these boots gathering mothballs in his locker along with his uniform. Now in plain clothes he doesn't often need to wear either. So it was a surprise when I got into the office today and saw these by his desk. No sign of him though so I sneaked a Blip.
