Ghost in the machine

... or just possibly the washed-out look of a newsreader on an LCD TV with sun shining on it. It quite freaked me out...

I've spent the whole day sitting on the sofa working, got to catch up somehow. It's made me grumpy, not because of the work, but because of the sitting around. Still, Naughtie's gaffe on the Today Programme cheered me up, then Marr compounding it on Start the Week made me almost choke... DO NOT CLICK THESE LINKS IF EASILY OFFENDED!

The funniest thing was all the newsreaders on News 24 doing everything they could to avoid saying Jeremy Hunt's name, and when they did they were Ever So Careful.

I'm giggling about it even now.
