Market Transport

The market in Zihuatanejo rivals anything I have ever seen on the Travel Channel. Total chaos reigns for three square blocks, with vendors selling everything from produce to bootlegged DVDs. It is a photographer's dream, except for getting an unobstructed shot of the action even though I arrived shortly after sunrise. It was a total surprise then when the traffic and shoppers cleared in front of this produce stand. The stand's two delivery vehicles were parked in the perfect position out front, creating a nice symmetrical composition. I had only a moment to shoot before the chaos closed in once again and this shot was lost forever.
