And now I'm telling you the secret. Our last day at Shute Gatehouse and we said a very sad goodbye. I particularly enjoyed the very precise placing of the door keys on their special ledge. There was no instruction telling us to this but this was clearly the done thing to do and we all took great pleasure in carefully balancing the heavy keys on their narrow ledge high on the wall.
