How d'you like them apples?
This is the first blip entry we've done - taken on new Canon camera, all very posh with a thick manual and lots of buttons I don't understand yet. However, it seems to take a good picture, and maybe one day I can do it justice! Am sure Neil will have worked it all out by teatime.
Anyway, this is the apple tree in our back garden, taken at lunchtime while the sun was out. The apples are frozen and covered in snow, like everything else at the moment, but that doesn't seem to deter a big fat bird from tucking in. No, not the one behind the camera, a feathery one called a fieldfare, according to my parents who "know about these things". The aforementioned birdie is not in shot, as it failed to turn up to the photo call, but hopefully I'll get a decent shot of it stuffing its beak later in the week.
