December Sunrise

Just about to make my porridge this morning and looked out of the kitchen window to see this! Made a wonderful start to the day, which I spent at work, typing consultant's letters and then attending a works do this afternoon. It was a departmental meeting followed by nibbles! Deadly dull, with more mince pies and sausage rolls than you could shake a stick at! But some kind soul had made a nice cheesecake and there were some lovely dips, cheeses and olives so it could have been a lot worse.

We have two Polish dentists working with us and I really enjoyed hearing all about their Christmas traditions. Makes you think about all the people who will be away from home and their families at Christmas, because of their jobs.

Off tomorrow, so I'm going to put up the tree and the decorations. Look out, cats and Ollie!
