The trip begins

Our intuition along with the national weather service told us to leave a day early for our snowboarding trek to Crested Butte. Turns out both were right on the money. We plowed our way up the mountains to a beautiful light snowfall that would persist for the entire time we were there.

This is a shot of some mountains along the way in Utah - one of the most gorgeous states. It was a long 14+ drive.
