Glenbogle

We travelled back to the cottage today through amazing scenery and fine weather, with a stop by Loch Laggan where they filmed Monarch of the Glen.

For our overseas chums who are not aquatinted with subtleties of the BBC, Monarch of the Glen was a hugely successful TV show which ran for years, telling of all the adventures to be had in a Highland Glen. Loads of colourful locals and kilts a go go - basically a load of nonsense but designed to be comfortable watching of a Sunday evening.
