Castle at Sunrise

I went out early this morning to get this picture. I posted an afternoon shot from the same spot a few days ago. Still trying to get the perfect shot.... This one would make a nice Christmas card though.

Looks much better LARGE.

Turning 180 degrees from this shot the view is also stunning.

Along with our usual feathered friends at our birdfeeders today we had Partridges who were pecking all of the seeds that fell to the ground. These birds are normally extremely shy and for them to come into the garden shows how hard it is for the birds just now. Buy that feeder and throw out that old bread!
