Chairlift and little skier

Yesterday it was Finlands Independence day 6th December and we celebrated it at out hut with three other families in peaceful manner, so warmed up the sauna, drank some beer, champagne, wine and had a fondue dinner after the kids were at sleep. Naturally during the evening watched also the official celebration of the Presidents castle from the telly and criticized the dresses of some participants etc ;)

Today slept late (or at least tried) and then left to resort with the whole family. Today was the day our son U tried alpine skiing for the first time and it went quite well actually. We skied one and half hours at the childrens land while Mrs.Mrok and S were watching. U fell few times but seemed to have fun and learned to stand at the ski a bit. I also had a lot of fun! After Mrs.Mrok took U back to the hut went to ski some moguls again with my friends and made few quite good runs where could already relax a bit and could control the speed better than during the last few days.
