Oh, what a beautiful morning!

Apart from taking 30 minutes to scrape ice off the inside and outside of my windscreen, this morning was beautiful - a hoar frost, white skeletal trees, and the sun stridently making itself felt nonetheless. The kind of morning that makes you feel very alive and cheerful, even when events are conspiring against you!
