The snow has found work for idle hands! After the beautiful day yesterday we spent a lot of time in the house today, as the snow started to thaw. Also finished a lovely knitted bonnet for the skipper's niece, but can't blip it in case her mother sees it! Though I say it myself, it is ever so pretty - knitted from a 1930's pattern!

We are supposed to be getting more insulation fitted tomorrow, under a government scheme, so yesterday we emptied the loft in readiness. Amongst the clutter we bought down were all the Christmas decorations, so today I played myself putting some of them up in the sitting room! Very seasonal and festive - and less than three weeks to go! When we were kids, decorations were put up on Christmas eve - changed days!
