York station

After an epic journey, I finally arrived at my daughter's house near Doncaster, ready to fly out to Cyprus tomorrow (probably). Didn't blip yesterday as too depressed watching the snow, wondering if I would ever get out of South Queensferry to catch the East Coast train. Thanks to a kindly 4x4 driver who actually took me right into Waverley station, I am at least in the right place to get to the airport tomorrow.

This is decoration at the top of one of the columns at York station, as none of the trains leaving Edinburgh were stopping at Doncaster.
