Time keeps ticking

Only 14 more sleeps until Christmas, but even with most of my shopping done there still doesnt seem enough time.

Remember being a kid, and the build up to the day itself seemed to last for an eternity? Aside from Supermarkets ramming it down my throat, these last few years I've hardly noticed Christmas sneaking up on me. Then the day is suddenly over and I feel cynical for wondering what all the fuss was about.

Even at the grand old age of 24 I should try and appreciate the fun of it more, and not get bogged down by the "more important things" that keep rearing their heads.

Here's to taking a more laid back approach and stopping the little joys passing me by.
