Boy with bush knife and taro plant, Tanna, Vanuatu

In rural Vanuatu almost everyone carries knives of some kind, especially the multi-use bush knives. I came across this boy in the highlands on the island of Tanna, mid-afternoon. He was walking along the road with a taro plant poised on the top of his head, heading home for tea.
