The Season

Come winter and the season of harvesting and marriages start.
Nowadays, the modern astrologers predict a common auspicious day for almost all marriages in a single day! This puts everything in chaos including traffic, the pundits, the arrangers (Araangfam), the stage makers, the family and friends, videographers and photographers!!

Got three assignments to shoot three weddings day after tomorrow!!

Today is HEIJINGPOT day, the second prelude to the grand ceremony, the first being WAROIPOT (total engagement).

In HEIJINGPOT (presentation of all seasonal fruits), the bridegroom's party presented a host of exotic fruits and other delicacies to the bride's party in the latter's residence.

The posted image is the groom's party bringing in all the HEIJING KHARAI (fruits etc.) inside the bride's residence.

Once assigned, all the important stages of the ceremony are to be recorded well before the grand wedding day! Engaged all cameras, flashguns & other accessories for these events. Two numbers of Nikon D700 cameras, one Nikon FM3A, one Nikon F80, one Nikon D90 along with their respective speedlites and cameramen.

The real chaos here is, two of the wedding parties warned me not to send anybody for the photography work except me!! After a lot of pursuation, the problem was finally solved!
