Dark shadow of Orchid

This shot reflects our mood today. A dark shadow descended upon us when we heard one of our dear Flickr friends, Caroline had lost her beloved blue roan cocker spaniel , Confi,yesterday. Confi was 12 and Caroline's constant companion.

It is awful when you lose a pet and we really feel for you, Caroline. It may be too soon to suggest that another pet is the best medicine. However ,we found that certainly helped mend our broken hearts when we lost Chloe , two and a half years ago.

Rona came into our lives and has been the best wee friend anyone could want.

We will always remember Confi, xx
