Start spreading the news

Not as random a blip as it might at first appear. My study is too cold at the moment for comfort and I need to do some work this evening so I've decamped to the dining table, which means I can sit right in front of a radiator and keep warm. Anyway, my Mexican Friendship Circle sits in the middle of the dining table and it's reminding me of my aforementioned Christmas Do where everyone ended the evening in the traditional manner...in a circle, arms around each other's shoulders, high kicking, singing New York New York.
