Return of the Pub Quiz

Wednesday night is Pub Quiz night in our local, but we've been missing for quite a few weeks. Last week after our escape from the frozen north, I intimated we'd attended last week's quiz and won.

Not really had a suitable blip day since then to return to my time tested formula of letting you prove yourselves smarty pants by answering those we got wrong, which last week wasn't many - seven in fact.

Here's the offending seven questions, see whether you could have improved our score:

1. The Irish government agreed an IMF bailout of how many billion Euros?
2. Mexico celebrated how many years independence from Spain in 2010?
3. Who was man of the match in the first Test between Australia and England?
4. Who regained his WBC super middleweight title in Finland on Saturday?
5. Which singer had a 2010 hit entitled Katy On A Mission?
6. In which county is the town of Bagshot?
7. Who duetted on a 2000 hit entitled Kids?
