Eastern Promise?

I had a totally different blip in mind for today for the assignment - to introduce you to a tradition that a group of friends has established ... but how could I resist the amazing sunrise this morning? The promise of a nice day in the east (sadly not realised - its dark grey outside now).

So, tradition will have to wait for another week.

However, as a nod to 42 tradition, I made sure I got a seagull in the shot for all you blippers. Its not a stock seagull, honestly it isn't!

Edit: I've just gone back through my blips and the odd bird does seem to creep in!
