Nunney Castle
Took hubby to work this morning and came back a slightly scenic route.
I know the towers are leaning but if I try to correct one tower, the other looks far worse. The castle is in the middle of the village and can only be properly seen close by, so standing further back isn't an option. I'll blame the lean on the Parliamentarians who attacked the castle with cannonfire in 1645 - although the damaged portion of the wall, which can be seen here, didn't collapse until Christmas Day 1910!
