Xmas dinner

It was the Golf Club Christmas dinner today, held at a restaurant run by two Argentinians. We had the turkey with all the trimmings, which was very nice but filling. The only down side was that the drinks were not included and they would not let you pay for your drinks as you bought them, when we asked for the bill it came as one large amount, and 'billy muggins' being the only sober one, as I was driving, had to try and sort out who owed what.

I ended up having to make up the short fall of 7 euros, so our bottle of wine, 2 bottles of water and 2 coffees cost Roy and I 22 euros.

The picture is our club champion, who unfortunately couldn't come to the dinner dance because of a funeral, being presented with his trophies. He wears that tie every christmas, I think it is the only one he has got!! His shirt makes you go gozzy eyed because of the way the stripes run and they are different shades of blue.
