Before the thaw

Hop along did a sterling job today clearing the snow off of the flat roof we have on part of the house. It wasn't until you started to clear it that you realised how heavy it was. It was done just in the nick of time before a thaw set in and eveything started dripping.
The morning continued by discovering that the Christmas stock of soft drinks had exploded in the garage due to the sub zero temperatures so the clear up of sticky Irn Bru and Diet Coke began.

Local Authority Website has burst the eldest's bubble by informing us that the secondary schools are back but the youngest is happy as the Primary remains closed!

Oh well first festive DVD goes on tonight, the favourite choice is Home Alone, need to sit down and fit it in before the tumble dryer needs emptying :)
